The mobile phone and especially smartphones arrived in world markets in early 2013. After viewing abundant capabilities, these phones also acquired their acceptance in the Iranian market, so that in the past years, mobile imports in our country have reached $ 1.5 billion a year.

Importing Mobile Phones During Covid

Considering the international situation in recent years, the import of mobile phones has become even more difficult to the point that has become so-called drip importing. Apart from this, with the beginning of the epidemic of the Corona virus, the flights of the producing countries were very limited, so the import of this product became more difficult than before. On the other hand, with the closure of schools and universities (due to Covid restrictions) and the use of virtual education such as the ‘Shaad app’, the smartphone shortage has become more pronounced in society and a huge flood of demand for this basic commodity has hit the market.

Caspian Group

In these difficult economic times, we are proud to announce that even during the flight restrictions from the producing countries, the Caspian Group managed to import (at least) 10,000 mobile phones per month, and now the group is trying to import nearly 20,000 mobile phones per month to fill part of the gap created in the society and in turn contribute to improving the level of education.
